Source: http://kyleneedsyou.org
Kyle is a 4-year-old boy who is half-Caucasian and half-Asian. He is developing normally but has aplastic anemia and needs a bone marrow transplant. No one on the national bone marrow donor registry is a suitable donor for him. He has six months to live unless he finds a matched donor. Join the cause to help save Kyle's life!
AA-MDS-TALK
The AA-MDS-TALK website was replaced by MarrowForums. It acts as a communication tool for patients with aplastic anemia to share their stories, provide support and hope, answer questions, and provide information.
The National Marrow Donor Program:
Be the Match
Source: http://marrow.org
The National Marrow Donor Program seeks to provide bone marrow and umbilical cord transplants. It provides a registry of all possible marrow donors and helps to raise money in order to facilitate these transplants. It also connects patients with researchers and care providers who can help save their lives. Through the National Marrow Donor Program, a simple cheek swab will enroll you as a donor, and you may be contacted to help save a life by donating your marrow.
